About Tanker Creative
Enabler of brand, web and social for ambitious creatives
Tanker has been involved in Aotearoa New Zealand’s fine arts and creative landscape since the early naughties when Founder Nicola Devine was in the right place at the right time to take up an opportunity to work with artists and galleries.
Since then Tanker has continued to both collaborate with creatives and put their money where their mouth is by collecting contemporary local art and design with a prominent focus on female practitioners.
These days Team Tanks are known for successful partnerships with creative professionals such as Flox, Michel Tuffery, Kushana Bush, Simon Devitt and rising star Matt Payne where they consult and manage their brands and online marketing channels.
If you or your organisation is ready to partner with a set of go-getters then contact us today.

Nicola Devine
Creative Director
Auckland + Christchurch
Originally trained as a graphic designer in the 1990s, when iPhones were still a twinkle in Steve Jobs’ eye, Nicola has been involved in both print-based and interactive media since her time studying at Whanganui School of Design.
Nicola is an avid follower of new technology in the marketing, design and communications. Her main interests are in technology, creative practice and diversity, which she integrates into the business by ensuring a respect for Māori culture; ethnicity, sexuality, gender, social, economic and people with disabilities. Since 2019 Nicola has also served on the Board of Trustees for Devonports’ Depot Artspace.

Gina Papahadjis
Studio Manager and Web & Social Coordinator
Christchurch
When it comes to systems and studio workflow Gina efficiently keeps the Tankettes in their lanes. With a background in Event Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Management, both the big picture and small detail of projects are totally her jam.
An Ōtautahi local, you can find Gina sipping a flat white on a Saturday morning at Supreme Supreme or shooting hoops at one the communal basketball courts down on the green belt.
Fleur Cerecke
Designer — and mother (currently on Maternity Leave)
Self-described as a passionate and enthusiastic orator of design, Fleur brings an all-consuming intensity to any conversation, strategy, brand, print or online creative. We’ve managed to lasso her to a chair for the legal allocated time-slots and funnel that energy into best practice solutions.
A recent return from the big smoke of Auckland, to her home town of Otautahi, Fleur is a legendary do-er upperer, creating magic with anything from a sideboard to a house with internal PVC columns.
Top dog Chloe and Top kid Hugo occasionally poke their noses in to give the team some cuteness overload.
Faith Downey
Copywriter
Faith has written her way around the world, helping clients from Auckland to New York to Montreal. Over the past 15 years she’s crafted copy and created concepts to elevate some of the globe’s biggest players including the likes of Canon, L’Oreal and Adidas.
These days she is based in the beautiful South Island and is sharing her skills to help local businesses gain the same advertising advantage that the big guys have.
Noodles Devine
Chief Canine Executive
(Wire Fox Terrier) Beyoncé coined the phrase “Yas Kween” after observing Noodles delicately devouring a three week old piece of chicken she found on the sidewalk during one of their weekly private Skype sessions. When not chatting with other superstars and diplomats, she spends her time daydreaming about inane but supremely creative life requirements in a bespoke armchair created for her by Marc Newson.
Fergus Devine
Assistant Canine Executive
(West Highland Terrier) Happy-go-lucky Fergus is right-hand terrier to Noodles. He adores multi-tasking management of several toys, inadvertently creating the soon-to-be popular dance move “The Rampant Lion” whilst doing so. Fergus is always ready for/demanding of a cuddle at 4am and rocks his marine-themed bandana like pro.
