Tim Nees Architect’s April Newsletter
For Tim Nees Architects / New Work Studio (and for the team here at Tanker HQ) the second quarter of the year is well underway and with it comes the change of seasons – things may be cooling down outside but they aren’t slowing down at the studio. New projects include Taylor’s Mistake House Update April 2017, Frankton Housing Development and Port Levy House Update April 2017. Tim also gave a talk at the Christchurch Art Gallery called The Risk of Being Nowhere on 15th February. The talk was about how architecture communicates and how architects need to build an awareness of the specific quality of their voice, together with the characteristics of place, and of how an awareness of tone and a sensitivity to place can inform architecture and strengthen our associations.
